TMD 49' X 23' ELECTRIC CAT

TMD 49' x 23' ELECTRIC CAT

The Electric Cat was developed for our all electric and hybrid models which is why the pilothouse is on the starboard side and only extends a metre above the main deckhouse giving it a small low profile to reduce windage.  It provides an all round view while leaving a large area of the top deck available for solar panels and wind generators.

To prevent shadows from falling on the solar panels there is no flybridge or radar arch; the radar and antennas mount on a low bracket on the top of the pilothouse itself.

Top Deck Plan View showing lots of space for solar panels and wind generators. Tests are underway to mount the dinghy off an aft deck platform freeing up more space for solar panels and wind generators
TMD 49' Main Deck Plan
The main deck plan provides very comfortable and spacious areas for a couple to enjoy cruising without having to give up any of the comforts of home.  The full width master stateroom with its king size island berth and its large en-suite bathroom and double shower, or optional soaker tub should please everyone.

The open plan central dining room off the large L shaped galley with its centre counter top to serve from, makes this an ideal boat to entertain the occasional friends for dinner.  After dinner the large lounging area to starboard, or the aft deck seating arrangement are both good places to continue the conversation into the night.

If the need arises, there is a day head for guests down a few steps to a mezzanine level in the port hull.

TMD 49' Hull Deck Plan
The hull deck shows the en-suite guest cabin suitable for occasional guests, or it could be configured with twin beds for two children.  The port hull has the guest day head on the mezzanine level and a washer and dryer on the lower deck level.

Specifications for this model are still a work in progress as equipment and suppliers continue to evolve.  As soon as a client is ready to move ahead and purchase a design we will provide the electric specification for the best equipment available at that time.
